Youth Education

Youth Sunday School (9:45 a.m. to 10:40 a.m.)

Middle School Sunday School
Students in grades 6th through 8th meet Sundays in room E109. This class expands on any concepts previously learned and allows participants to ask questions and further explore God’s love, their faith, the Bible and how to incorporate their faith into their everyday lives. During the course of their middle school years, students will have the opportunity to participate in a confirmation class. This class is taught by Sharon Pendley.

High School
Students in grades 9th through 12th, who want to go deeper in their Christian exploration, meet every Sunday morning for fellowship in room E111. This class is a place where students can interact with their peers, gain insight into scripture and grow in their relationship with Christ. The curriculum aims to connect students with current events, create a culture of sharing God’s love through service, and keep topics relevant to the needs of teenagers. This class is taught by Joe Dennis.

College/Young Adult
The group of 18- to 25-year-olds meets at 717 Oconee Street. Currently, the group is involved in a year-old study of the women of the Bible. This class is led by Allison Floyd.
