Adult Education

Two Sunday school classes meet at Oconee Street:

Young Adult Sunday School meets at 10 a.m. at 717 Oconee Street. The small group is made up of 20-somethings who are in the first few years of their careers. Study centers on faith-development and discussion; the group performs regular service projects together to support the church’s mission to protect the vulnerable and alleviate problems in the community.

Adult Sunday School meets in the Conference Room of the main church building. The group is a Reconciling Ministry, meaning that all are welcome, regardless of sexual orientation or identity.

Each week, the group gathers at 9:45 a.m. to share joys and prayer concerns, followed by ppen-minded, open-hearted discussion before worship service. We use a variety of formats in our peer-led group to explore the Bible, books and topics determined by group interest.
